Protection measures against COVID 19

Life have no alternative, it has to move on! Let’s be responsible.

  • all participants, competitors and companions must be registered upon arrival at the contest,
  • wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based disinfectant,
  • avoid handshakes
  • use masks inside the buildings
  • maintain a distance of 1 meter when talking
  • in the event of fever or symptoms of any contagious disease, you should contact the emergency medical service
  • the competition will be monitored, please comply with all prescribed protection measures

 

Rules to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection in CEOI programs

  • All participants, competitors and companions must be registered upon arrival at the contest
  • if you enter a building, disinfect your hands
  • use mask inside the buildings
  • wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based disinfectant
  • avoid handshakes
  • maintain a distance of 1 meter when talking
  • in the event of fever or symptoms of any contagious disease, you should contact the emergency medical service
  • the competition will be monitored, please comply with all prescribed protection measures (fever measurement every day)

During the competition:

  • wearing a mask is compulsory inside the building
    • if you sit down at your workplace or dining table, the mask can be removed
  • keep a distance of at least 1,5 meter between the teams
  • shared equipment must be disinfected before handover
    • handover intention is indicated by showing up a “request” sign
    • gloves must be used for the delivery of chocolate/banana

 

Action plan in case of suspicion of Covid-infection

If someone’s temperature is measured to be above 37,5 °C:

  • the person has to be immediately isolated
  • inform the medical surgery of the event, who decides on further actions according to the valid protocol
  • the members of the team should be reminded to follow the safety rules.

In case of confirmed coronavirus infection, team members and roommates must also be isolated.
